Perry T. Mansfield, MD., has focused his journey on excellence in patient care.
Some of Dr. Mansfield’s achievements include the following:
• Chairman of four major Head and Neck Surgery/Skull Base Surgery programs
• Chaired CME accredited regional Head and Neck/Skull Base surgery rounds for 19 years
• Presented and published numerous peer-reviewed articles, most recently on a series of 3,754 continuous tumor cases
• Directed International and National Fellowship training programs
• Awarded the Canada Bravery award from the Queen of England
• Participated on the Business Advisory Council to the U.S. Congress
• Participated on 16 medical staff peer review committees
• Acted as Chief of Surgery twice and Chief of the Medical Staff
• Holds several U.S. and International patents
• Sits on several philanthropic and corporate boards
• Co-founded a biotech company, Powell-Mansfield
• Co-founded Senta Clinic
• Founded the largest full-service sleep lab in the region, Amerisleep Diagnostics
• Founded a healthcare and business management company, MSAI Inc, that serves the Southern California region in various healthcare and business practices
His interests include progressive technology-enabled minimally invasive surgical techniques, using his experience of over 10,000 surgical cases to find and define clinical pathways. His love of collecting cars led him and Judith to open one of the premier car sales, consignment, and restoration facilities in San Diego, winning multiple National and International awards. As CEO of Mansfield Companies, he provides leadership and directional vision to the teams that support each enterprise.
Peter Geyser
Administrative and Technical Support Specialist

Peter Geyser has vast experience in the rapidly evolving field of consumer electronics and information technology. He strongly believes that technology should not be an impenetrable maze in which only a select few possess the knowledge to navigate its murkiness. Rather, technology should be intuitive, democratic, and transparent.
Starting as a technician and moving into a management and administrative role, Geyser has gained insight into the varied needs of the many users of tech. Working with individuals and businesses alike, he has been able to draw upon his breadth of knowledge to make concrete suggestions on how technology can be used in a more natural and efficient way. He brings with him a vision that technology usage in a business setting should be as straightforward and reflexive as it is in our daily personal lives.
Margie Kuoha
Senior Controller
The Mansfield Companies
Margie Kuoha has extensive knowledge in accounting, operations, and financial management. She has a flair for tackling the complexities of each individual client’s unique business needs and delivering tailored solutions and guidance.
She began her career in her teens working in government finance and after a long stint began her own financial and accounting business. She then served as the Head of Operations for the House of Hospitality in Balboa Park. Her accomplishments in this role include helping to oversee restoration of the building in 1997, which won awards from the National Trust for Historic Preservation as well as the City of San Diego. Now, as MSAI controller, in charge of bookkeeping as well as any and all financial reporting and tax needs, the companies under her purview span a wide variety of of industries including biotechnology, medicine, property management, automotive sales/restoration, nonprofits, and more.
In her off time, Margie is passionate about baseball, classical music, travel, and her family.
Derrick Cordice
Clinical and Research Coordinator

Derrick Cordice earned a Bachelor of Science degree in human physiology, with a minor in psychology, emphasizing clinical research from Gonzaga University in 2017. He believes in creating a pleasant experience for everyone involved in the medical process, including physicians, medical staff, and most importantly, the patients.
Cordice brings the ability to blend modern medicine with ever-evolving technology, continuously striving to improve patient care and clinical flow along the way.
Cordice’s introduction to the medical field began when he got his EMT certificate in 2016. He got his start at Mansfield Companies as a clinical assistant with a passion for helping patients get the care they need and deserve.
Since that time, his role has expanded to include working with Powell Mansfield Inc. as a Clinical Research Coordinator. In this role, he oversees patient recruitment, data collection, the scientific integrity of the data, and most importantly, is a patient advocate. He led a successful pilot study that looked at the ability to record EMG signals from the oropharynx using a novel device, collecting and organizing the data from more than 200 screened participants.
In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, being outside in nature, and getting to enjoy time with friends and family.
Julio Donoso
Senior Accounting and Operations Manager/Auditor

Julio Donoso is a new member of The Mansfield Companies team, bringing 20 years of accounting and operations experience in various fields, including public accounting, auditing, financial reporting, and business management.
Donoso is a certified Accountant/Auditor and holds a Bachelor of Finance and Administration in Auditing/Accounting from Universidad Iberoamericana in Santiago, Chile.
At The Mansfield Companies, Donoso oversees accounting and payroll for several of the companies within the portfolio. He oversees financial analysis and plays a lead role in preparing audited financial statements and supporting reports to the President.
He likes to spend time with family in his free time, go to the gym, and explore San Diego’s various open-air markets. A native of Santiago, Chile, Donoso loves to travel the world and learn from other cultures.
